Materials related to the life and career of Western movie actor, Ken Maynard, who was also a Wild West show, rodeo and circus performer. Included are: contracts, letters and documents, programs and other ephemera, 2 circus posters, a poster titled "Cowboy jazz", radio and motion picture scripts, motion picture press books, and 14 notebooks containing more than 500 black and white film stills (known as "key art") for 24 Maynard films made between 1925-1944.
